All students are welcome to wear costumes during the afternoon on Thursday, October 31! (AM Kindergarten are welcome to come dressed in the morning). Students in Grades 1- 6 should bring their costumes with them in the morning in a separate bag. Students can wear a safe and non-violent costume if children and families so desire. Dressing up is optional. Costumes can be as simple as wearing orange and black or a colour of the student’s choice or just wearing their regular clothes.
PLEASE keep costumes as simple as possible. A student should be able to independently put on and off their costume if needed.
During Halloween activities at school we ask parents to ensure the following:
- No masks or weapons as part of non – violent costumes (face paint is O.K) – students will be asked to remove masks, including if it is part of a costume such as an inflatable.
 - No candy sent to school during this day or in the following weeks. Please double check lunches for candy. Avoid any nut-based snacks. We are a nut sensitive school!

Kindergarten AM and PM – Come dressed! - Please have your child dressed in their costume (if you choose to participate with a costume) before they arrive at school.
Thank you for your help to make Halloween a fun and safe activity for everyone!
