Welcome to Kindergarten at Fish Creek School! We are excited to have you and your child as part of our learning community.

Fish Creek School is planning an important Kindergarten Orientation meeting for all parents and new FCS Kindergarten students on Friday, June 5. This is an important in person event for you and your child. To accommodate all our new Kindergarten students we are expecting in September, we are holding 2 in person orientation sessions:
 
Session#1: 1:00pm – 1:45pm attend if your last name is from A – L (based on child’s last name)
Session#2: 2:00pm – 2:45pm attend if your last name is from M - Z  (based on child’s last name)

Please complete this Student Learner Profile before the orientation, as it provides important information about your child.

During this orientation, we will present a brief overview of our program, our school organization and planning for Kindergarten, and share with you some ideas to help your Kindergarten child get ready for their first year of school.   We will have a brief presentation, followed by Kindergarten activities in which your child will participate.   For your Kindergarten child to be able to fully participate, we ask that no siblings accompany them.  An AHS nurse, Physiotherapist and Speech Language Pathologist as well as First Class Childcare will also be available to answer any questions you may have.
