‘Minnows’ for The Calgary Humane Society
On Friday, December 5th, Fish Creek School is holding a student market to support a charity, chosen by our 
Dear Fish Creek Families,
We are excited to host our 4th annual Fish Creek School Market on December 5th!
Students in Grades 1–6 will be creating crafts, games, and products to sell, and Kindergarten students will have the chance to shop. To participate in the market, students will need to pre-purchase our school currency, Minnows.
Purchasing Minnows for Students
Students are asked to bring in a $5.00 donation, which provides 20 Minnows.
You may order Minnows in one of two ways:
- Online through PowerSchool – please purchase under each child that attends our school.
- By sending cash to school for your child to give to their teacher (minimum of $5.00).
Purchasing Minnows for Families
Families are welcome to shop from 10:30–11:30am.
Minnows for families will be available:
- At the front doors for cash (up to two packages on December 5th per family)
- Or pre-purchased online through PowerSchool, if preferred. Please do this under one of your children’s names only. Maximum two packages per family, aside from the student.
All online pre-purchases must be completed by Wednesday, December 3rd.
Pre-purchased Minnows will be handed out to students on Market Day.
Pre-purchased minnows for family members can be picked up as they enter the school for the Market on December 5th.
All proceeds from Minnow sales will be donated to the Calgary Humane Society.
There will be an additional donation box at the front of the school for extra cash donations.
