From June 1-19, 2026, Grade 1-6 Fish Creek School students will attend swimming lessons at the Canyon Meadows Pool.  Students will be instructed by professional swimming instructors using the Swim for Life program. All activities are directly connected with the Alberta curriculum.

All students should bring:

• bathing suit
• towel
• indoor sandals or flip flops are optional
• any necessary toiletries

Note: students will have 15 minutes to get to their bus after lessons

The cost of this program will be $52 per student.  Payment can be made through your MyCBE account or in person at the office.     The City of Calgary is no longer offering waivers.  If the fee creates a financial hardship, please contact Ms. Lusignan, Principal by April 30.  Please return forms that were sent home today and fees by April 30, 2026.

Please see this itinerary for dates and times when your child will be swimming.  Please note that Mrs. Parker, Miss Bender and Mrs. Roblin’s class will be going in two separate groups.  You will receive a separate email to confirm with which group they will be attending.

We will need volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering and you have your volunteer clearance, please notify your Room Parent. If you have any questions about volunteering, please see the office. Volunteers are expected to supervise children on the bus and in the locker room. Volunteers do not participate in swimming lessons
