Dear Fish Creek Families, As we bring the 2025–26 school year to a close, we can’t help but wonder: did we just make the jump to hyperspace? It feels like September was only moments ago. Truly, this year has flown by at light-speed. Over the past school year, our students have shown the qualities of true Jedi. They have shown curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to making the galaxy a better place. This was embodied in the Fish Creek Market, where our young Padawans transformed creative ideas into nearly $5000 for the Calgary Humane Society. Clearly, the Force is strong with our future Jedi knights. Additionally, the Read-a-thon proved that when young minds focus, the power of reading is stronger than any lightsaber. Together, these moments highlight the kindness, creativity, and determination of our students. Behind the scenes, our remarkable staff, wise Jedi Masters, have been guiding and supporting our learners. On any given day, like Yoda, they are wise teachers, mentors, leading their young Padawan charges with empathy and compassion. Their Obi Wan Kenobi inspired dedication ensures every student feels safe, supported, and ready to learn, even when the energy levels are on the dark side of low. To our incredible volunteers, you are the true guardians of our school community. Whether reading with students, organizing events, helping in the library, or keeping Sports Day running smoothly, a feat worthy of the Jedi Council, your contributions have made a lasting impact. We are deeply grateful, especially in dark Imperial times. And to all our FCS families as well as the FCS School Council and Parent Association, you for being such strong allies. Your support, encouragement, and involvement help make Fish Creek a vibrant and welcoming community. Simply put, you help keep the Force in balance. Thank you for a year filled with growth, achievement, and unforgettable moments. While we look forward to the adventures ahead, we hope everyone enjoys a well-earned summer filled with sunshine, rest and fun.
