Halloween Parade

On October 30, FCS will hold its annual Halloween parade.  Dressing up is optional. If children and families so desire, students may come to school wearing their costumes.  Students can wear a safe and non-violent costume .  Costumes can be as simple as wearing orange and black or a colour of the student’s choice or just wearing their regular clothes. Classes will be participating in our traditional Halloween Parade like in previous years.

PLEASE keep costumes as simple as possible. A student should be able to independently put on and take off their costume if needed.

During Halloween activities at school we ask parents to ensure the following:

·         non–violent costumes--no weapons

·         no masks--face paint is OK

·         students will be asked to remove masks, including if it is part of a costume such as an inflatable.

·         Please do not send candy to school during this day or in the following weeks.

·         Please double check lunches for candy.

·         Avoid any nut-based snacks. We are a nut aware school

Thank you for your help to make Halloween a fun and safe activity for everyone!
