Lost and Found
Our many lost and found items are currently on display in our front foyer Please take a moment to come by the school to check the racks of clothing that have been found. Items that have not been claimed by June 26 at 12:30pm will be donated to charity.
Transportation Registration
Register Now for Yellow School Bus Service for 2025-26 . Transportation registration is available using your MyCBE account. Families must register by Sunday, June 22, 2025 for students to be added to routes for the start of the next school year. Registrations are accepted after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing bus stop with available space. Processing times for registrations submitted after the June 22 deadline will be delayed. Confirmed routes are posted in August. For those who register after the June 22 deadline, it may take until mid-October before your child is able to ride the bus. Transportation can be cancelled with no financial impact by submitting the cancellation form by Sept. 30, 2025. Families must register by Sunday, June 22, 2025 for students to be added to routes for the start of the next school year.
Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration is ongoing. Please note that if you have not as yet registered your child for kindergarten please do so as soon as possible. We are actively organizing and planning and planning for 2025/2026 school year.
We ask that all families check their MyCBE account to see which fees are still due. We currently have $4553.93 in unpaid fees which comes directly out of the school budget and impact the resources we have. If you need to make payment arrangements, please contact the principal, Ms. Lusignan to discuss this further.
Report Cards
Families can view, download or print online report cards for kindergarten to Grade 12 students on Wednesday, June 25 until July 25, 2025 through MyCBE. After July 25, reports cards are no longer available for viewing, downloading and/or printing. Within MyCBE, families can also view student information, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades and attendance information. Any questions regarding your child’s report card can be addressed on Thursday, June 26 from 12:30p-3:30pm, which is our appeals time.
Last Day
A reminder that the last day of the school year is Thursday, June 26, which will be a half day ending at 12:10pm.
FCS School Council Updates
Calling all volunteers! We are fortunate to have our next Casino dates coming up Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11, 2025. This casino will bring in somewhere between $65,000 and $85,000 to the school to help pay for things like playground upkeep and replacement, books, gym equipment, student online resources, laptops and technology, and so much more. Without parent volunteers we will have to forfeit the casino and miss out on this huge contribution to the school, so if you can volunteer please do! Please view the Sign Up Genius to see the shifts available. You do NOT need school clearance and a police report to participate. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbours and anyone over 18 is welcome to volunteer.
Yearbooks
Yearbooks have been delivered! There are extra yearbooks ordered in case anyone missed the deadline. To purchase one, please etransfer $25 (per book) to fishcreekschoolcouncil@gmail.com and include in the notes - Yearbook - Childs Name - Childs Teacher. Once received, we will deliver the yearbook to your child. Extras are first come first serve until gone.
