We would like to wish everyone the very best on National Indigenous Peoples’ Day. As we welcome the first days of summer, we’ve just concluded our last full week with students. Our Grade 6's bravely wrote their social studies and science PATs using the new online platform, Vretta. Our kindergarten class hosted their graduation, with adorable musical performances for the adoring families in attendance. Our new principal, Ms. Lusignan had the opportunity to visit the school and meet many of our classes. We look forward to her joining us full time for the 2024/2025 school year.

Lost and Found

For the final time this year, we have organized and laid out the contents of our lost and found bins. If you’ve noticed any items that went to school and were never to be seen again, we would like to encourage you to come and take a look. At the end of next week, the remnants will be bundled up and donated.

Fees

On Monday, Account Summary Statements will be sent home with students. These statements will include information about fees that have yet to be paid. These fees allow us to pay vendors for field trips and in-school experiences that enrich the educational experience for the students.

Canlearn Friends

The Canlearn Society is offering a number of free Friends programs this summer, both at the CanLearn Society office downtown and at the Salvation Army Resource Centre in Forest Lawn. Please see that attached flyer with more details.
