Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held November 28 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm and November 29 from 8:30am to to 12:30pm. Bookings can be done through your MyCBE account and will open on November 17 at 12:00pm and close on November 28 at 6:00am. If you would like to book or make a change after that time, please call the office.
We would like to gather feedback on Lifetouch as our school photo provider. We welcome both positive and constructive feedback through this survey. This can be related to quality of photos, pricing, delivery time etc. We ask for your name in case we need to follow up. The survey will be open until November 8. FCS Grade 4 students are spearheading a Veterans’ Food Bank Drive from November 4-27. Students are encouraged to bring in a food donation. Please see the veterans' food bank wish list for in demand items.
Teachers carefully select experiences that will enhance regular programming, for which there is at times, has a cost associated with it. Fish Creek school currently has over $6000 in unpaid programming fees from prior years. This means that our budget for this year has already been spent over 10% in order to cover these costs from previous years. We would appreciate that these fees be taken care of as soon as possible as otherwise the school has to pay for them and it affects the programming we can offer. They can be paid online through your MyCBE account. If you need help with the payment process or if you feel that you received this message in error, please contact the office. It you need to make payment arrangements, please contact the school directly as soon as possible.
Our lost & found is overflowing! There is a much greater chance of items being reunited if a child's name is in them. Please label your child's item with their name. Our lost & found will be on display during conferences. Please take a few minutes to check through to see if you recognize anything.

Fun Lunch + Spirit Days
You may place Healthy Hunger orders at https://healthyhunger.ca. Please note, some of our lunches have two delivery times. Only the one of the delivery times will show based on your child's lunch time. You can cancel lunch on the Healthy Hunger website up until the Saturday before the lunch. Please contact fishcreekschoolcouncil@gmail.com with any fun lunch questions.
Each Fun Lunch day will be paired with a Spirit Day theme. The next Spirit Day is on Mismatched Sock Day on November 21 with the next Fun Lunch.
Our annual Hockey night presented by the Fish Creek Parent Association will be on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Saddledome where the Calgary Hitmen take on the Victoria Royals. Tickets are $23.90 for adults and $17.60 for children, with $5 from every ticket donated back to the Parent Association. We will all be seated in the same sections (104 or 105).
