This week, we had our first lockdown drill of the year, our first indoor recesses, school pictures, and a power failure. Our staff and students, with the support of our parent volunteers, came through with flying colours. As we enter the last full week of summer, we are confident in our ability to adapt to changing circumstances and support each other through whatever comes our way.
Annual Volunteer Forms
Paper copies of Annual Volunteer Forms are being sent home with students. There is a different form available on SchoolEngage, accessed through your MyCBE account. This is a form that new volunteers can fill out to initiate the volunteer clearance process. If you are a returning volunteer, you do not need to fill out this online form. You only need to fill out the paper copy of the Annual Volunteer Form.
Here is a picture of the online form that you do not need to fill out.
Scooters & Bicycles
We are very happy to see our students using “kid-powered” modes of transportation to get to school. We would like to remind everyone that bicycles and scooters should be walked while on school grounds. This policy is to ensure the safety of all students.

Only the one of the delivery times will show based on your child's lunch time.
If your child will be absent on a fun lunch day, you can cancel their lunch on the Healthy Hunger website before the cut off date (the Saturday before the lunch.) Refunds are not available through the school at any time or via Healthy Hunger after the cut off date. If your child is unexpectedly absent on the Fun Lunch day, please contact the office to arrange for pickup in the office from 12:00-1:00 PM or to have it sent home with a sibling.
