Fish Creek School Weekly Update
Our Fish Creek Market was a great success thank you to all our students efforts and creativity. We raised over $4900 for the Calgary Humane Society. Thank you to all of our families who attended, as well as supported their child in getting ready as a vendor.
Veteran’s Food Drive
We are excited to share that our annual Veterans Food Drive began on Thursday, December 4th. Donations can be dropped off at the front of the school each morning. You can find out more here.
Save the date! Winter Concert Performance will be on Thursday, December 18 at the following times:
Grade 6 – 1:00 pm
Grade 5 – 1:45 pm
Grade 1 – 2:30 pm
Other grades will have a concert performance in the spring.
The last day of classes before winter break will be Friday, December 19. Classes will resume on Monday, January 5. We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!

Our next FCS School Council meeting will be December 16 at 7pm. All families are welcome to attend.
Also, please mark your calendars. Our MLA, Myles McDougall will be attending our Parent Council meeting on Tuesday, January 20. We’ll be discussing Fish Creek School and hearing presentations. We also plan to submit questions in advance and we hope and we hope there will be time for additional questions from our community. We hope you will join us for this event!
