We have many forms outstanding. Please log into your MyCBE Account and complete the following:
· Demographic Forms – This form is mandatory and may affect school funding if not completed. A 100% completion rate is needed.
· Annual Authorization Forms – Allow students to participate in various activities
· Volunteer Registration – If you want to volunteer, this form must be filled out annually, even if you have a valid police clearance.

Separately, please complete the Family Viewpoint, which helps your child's teacher understand their strengths and learning styles.
Please fill out one for each child at FCS.
Thank you to everyone who supported the FCS Book Fair, either through purchases and/or volunteering. Sales were at a record breaking $12,512. 55, a portion of which goes back to the school to buy more resources.
In order to streamline our limited resources, effective immediately, absences can be reported through email at fcsattendance@cbe.ab.ca. There will no longer be a phone option. By sending an email with your child’s first and last name, grade, teacher and reason for absence ahead of time, we can process attendance more quickly. Please add this email address to your contact list.
FCS Parent Council and Association Updates
The next Parent Council and Association Meeting takes place on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 7:00 pm. Our School Trustee, Charlene May will be attending this special meeting. If you have any questions for our School Trustee, kindly email them to: fishcreekschoolcouncil@gmail.com.
Our next fun lunch is Subway on October 22. Don’t forget to place your order before the cut off on Saturday, October 17. To place your child's order please visit the Healthy Hunger website at https://healthyhunger.ca
If you miss the deadline, please do not call the restaurant and ask to add an order. It is very confusing when we end up with extra lunches.
If your child will be absent on a fun lunch day, you can cancel their lunch on the Healthy Hunger website before the cut off date (the Saturday before the lunch.) Refunds are not available through the school at any time or via Healthy Hunger after the cut off date. If your child is unexpectedly absent on the Fun Lunch day, please contact the office to arrange for pickup in the office from 12:00 pm -1:00 pm or to have it sent home with a sibling.
